Help - I need a facial!

I am 38, and I am looking tired and a bit spotty! Have never had a facial, but I think I need a fair bit of - ahem - extraction? Feel like there are years of build up of products on my skin (I am pretty good about cleansing twice a day) - and as a one-off wouldn’t mind slightly splashing out - any recommendations? London/SE. Many thanks from pancake face xx

Try the Treatwell site/app and look for something local to you and put what you are looking for.
When you book, look for someone who would see your skin and rec the best facial for you. Hate when they want you to pick and you have no idea about what your face needs. And look for a chemical peel.
I used Bodyvie in Richmond (it’s more of a medical spa that tickling you with fingers for an hour as most are). I had a obagi peel and had new amazing skin in days. Good luck.

If your skin feels congested, long term you might want to start using acids to promote skin turnover - by regularly removing the top layer you are less likely to get congested pores. After which you might find that a good regular facial massage is what you need.

I KNEW you would all know things! Thanks so much - this is really helpful. Acid treatments and the Treatwell app - I had no clue. Thanks so much xx

Dermalogica facials (available nationwide) steam and then extract. And then do nice relaxing mask type bits. Having had a course of them I now can’t bear any facials that don’t come with extraction: just someone else repeatedly washing your face really!

Havent had a facial for years, but my skin went really bad recently. Spots, redness, whiteheads. Changed my skincare to garnier pure active and im back to normal. Might be worth a try. (Starter kits in asda for £8 too)
