ASOS sizing

beanaseireann · 29/10/2018 10:26

What is Asos sizing like ?
Compared with M&S or Next.
Is their ASOS Curve 16 different to ASOS 16 ?
Thank you.

Asos sizing tends (in my experience) to run true to size. I find M&S and Next run large, in that I can wear 8 in a lot of their clothes but would be a 10 in Topshop or ASOS

FellSwoop · 29/10/2018 11:03

I imagine the Curve range is specifically designed for plus size shapes though so a 16 might be a better fit in curve than in their mainline.

I find clothes come up small. Best thing to do is order it in a couple of sizes and send what you don't want back via the free delivery

reservoircats · 29/10/2018 11:04

Agree with PP. Runs true to size for size 10 me.

KeysHairbandNotepad · 29/10/2018 11:06

Their sizing can be random in my experience. I have two dresses (same size , same style) and one is bigger.

I'd just buy a few sizes and try them , returns are free after all.

I think ASOS runs true to generous size wise. Certainly not small.

Spam88 · 29/10/2018 11:12

I'd say true to size, but M&S and Next are a bit on the generous side.

Thanks all.
I hope Asos returns policy in Ireland is the same as in UK.
I think it is.
It makes it very expensive ordering from UK sites to send to Ireland as returns aren't free and are usually €10 or so ( without insurance) for shoes. Shock
It's like catching €10 and flinging it in the bin if you've to return something Sad
