My feet are like hooves - how can I make them beautiful by Friday morning?

Just that really. Away for the weekend involving swimming, massage and generally pottering about, but my feet are truly gross. How can I make them lovely by Friday?

Newtons chiropody sponge from Amazon. I've got T2 diabetes and my feet have been covered in thick horrid skin for years until getting one of these. I use it in the shower, then copiously apply Margaret Dabbs foot hygiene cream and wear cotton socks. My feet are baby soft, for the first time ever. Just go easy the first couple of times you use it.

Buy yourself:

foot file (double sided )
Flexitol Heel Balm or similar (Palmers do a solid stick in Primark)
something to remove the hairs ( wax/Veet)
cotton socks
emery boards
nice nail polish

Use the file DRY , put your foot over the side of the bath or toilet or put a towel down. File in long strokes in one direction
Don;t overdo it , you'll make them sensitive

Soak 10-15 minutes, rough dry , apply your cream , rub in and wear the socks overnight .

Do the same each night .

Do the waxing or Veet a couple of days before you're showing them off

File the nails and do your polish,

Depending on how much needs done you might need a one-off treatment . (Podiatrist or Pedicure depends on what you need done)

Go to a chiropodist and get them to hack away at them with a Stanley knife, or their version thereof. Best thing ever.

Then get a pedicure and get them painted.

My feet are awful as I run so I'm the expert in turning hooves into dainty things of beauty!

Another vote for the Newton's chiropody sponge- they're amazing and cheap! I kept seeing them recommended on here and gave it a go and my feet were transformed with only one use.

Newtons chiropady sponge (yes go steady the first time) and flexitol foot balm. Boots own is very good but I do think flexitol has the edge. My nails always improve when I use this foot cream.

Agree with the exfoliation and moisturising regime, it works quicker than you think.

Get a foot file - I found even the value ones from the supermarket work well - there is one that has four sides, a metal file/pumice/file/brush. In the shower, have a go at your feet with the file every day and moisturise afterwards.

If you can, put socks on and walk around in trainers or something that gets your feet warm to help the moisturiser sink in.

Don't go overboard on the moisturiser during the day in case it makes your feet slippy in your shoes (don't ask me how I know this).

Go to the chiropodist for a quick once over. Honestly, it's the absolute best for getting the feet in order. Then moisturise morning and night. Paint your toenails before you go.

Chiropody sponge due today. I've filed (never occurred to me to do it dry before Blush), soaked feet in Lush thing dd bought me ages ago, covered feet in boots cracked heel cream, put on socks.

Can't get an appointment before Friday so home remedies this time, but will get one booked for the next couple of weeks.

Thank you all
