Hi, I know this has been asked hundreds of times but trying to get the right bra size. Always got a 38B , but I seem to have a big gap in the cup that's really annoying me anyone on here give any advice??

thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.com/p/fitting-advice.html?m=1 measure according to this. I bet you need a smaller back and bigger cup

GreenTulips · 27/10/2018 22:46

Try the boob or bust method of measuring online
(Bet you are not a 34D)

38 back suggests a clothing size of around and 18 is that about right?
You might need a smaller back and a bigger cup (sounds ridiculous when the one you have has gaps)
The secret to a well fitting bra is getting the back right then trial and error to get the right style/shape of bra. Once it's right though it makes a massive difference

Join boob or bust group on Facebook. I always had trouble with bras before I tried their way of measuring and now my bras are so comfy I could happily sleep in them

I think I must have a weird Shape as I'm a size 14 sometimes 16. I haven't been properly measured in ages and I think it was m&s but it was years back , I've just measured myself and I seem to be a 36in under the bust and a 41 and half when leaning over. I hate bra shopping 🤦

I’ve always worn a 38b and got some Rigby and Peller vouchers and they’ve given me a 30e and told me about all the cup shapes that don’t suit my (saggy/tear drop) boobs. I need a non-padded t-shirt style bra that comes up quite high. Anything half cup gapped massively even in the new size.

Oh boob or bust I measured myself as a 30e but keep picking up the same style I’d had before so got gapping so asssumed the size was wrong. Now I know the right styles to look for I have happy boobs in a comfy bra!

dementedpixie · 27/10/2018 23:05

That suggests around 36DD or 36E

Tatey85 · 27/10/2018 23:09

Omg going to have to try some on now can't believe that 😁

Definitely try lots on and have a look before you go for possible styles to suit the shape of your breasts.

I can only wear balcony styles everything else gapes.

When trying them on make sure the band is firm with only a little bit of give. Also make sure you "scoop/shimmy" your boobs into the cups.
A good bra is priceless, changes the way your clothes look and makes you stand taller!
Please don't go to M&S to be measured, they're maybe the worst place on the high street.

I found Debenhams very good but it’s frustrating that bras differ so much from shop to shop. I still have no real idea what to go for. I have lost quite a bit of weight & my size has gone from 38DD to 36D. Asda bras are quite pretty & reasonably comfortable but I’m not sure about fit.

Boob or bust on Facebook! 100% changed my life haha

I always wore a 32c - I'm now in a 28F and so much better! :-)

Tatey85 · 27/10/2018 23:35

I was actually Gona go down a size and try an A cup as I was convinced I needed a smaller sized never thought I'd be a d or DD thank you all for your help 😀
