Somebody please recommend a hairdryer that’s not ££££

My hairdryer is officially on its way out. MIL has managed to melt the end of the nozzle (how?!?) so it keeps falling off the end of the dryer, and I need that attachment to make my hair look half decent. The cable is also heating up too much for my liking, so it’s gotta go.

Problem is, I need a decent dryer that won’t break the bank, that I can buy tomorrow/Sunday. I need one that’s good for fine, flyaway hair and that dries relatively quickly. Any and all suggestions welcome - unless it’s the sort I need to sell a kidney to have a hope of affording!

I always buy BaByliss since my hairdresser recommended the brand way back when. I think I've had about 3/4 hairdryers from them in 20 years. They have all the necessary settings/attachments and make very quick work of drying my fine hair - literally a couple of minutes from wet to dry.

NB: the ones I have bought are ordinary dryers not BaByliss Big Hair which I haven't tried.

I posed the same question on S&B about 2 years ago and was recommended the Parlux at around £80

Bought it and never regretted it.
Long wire, fast working and very good 'cool' function. Its a little heavier than I would like, but gives my arms a great work out!
