Warm Waterproof Coat

Greyhound22 · 17/10/2018 18:02

Before I buy any thoughts on a warm waterproof coat.

I've ended up with a padded Joules coat with no hood and a very thin Seasalt coat that is freezing.

I previously loved my Seasalt Tiller but it faded badly.

Any other ideas?

Budget up to about £150.

this one here is nice and comes in 3 different colours.

I'd still go for sea salt, but choose one that isn't made of the cotton-y tin cloth like the tiller is. Then it won't fade.

I've got a plant hunter coat from sea salt I've had for a couple of years now, and it's cosy. The outer is a nylon type fabric. This year's version is lovely.

Yeah, my tiller has faded, too, but it is on it's 3rd autumn.

And its isn't actually very warm. It's useless in proper winter weather.

Love my Didrikson!

Thanks everyone all helpful.

My Tiller faded after one winter so I was a bit cheesed off as they're not cheap and it really looks awful - even for walking the dog. I have been having a look at the other one mentioned though.

Have heard good things about Didrikson 🤔
