If you were going to have a makeover, where would you go to do that?

Would you try to find a makeup artist online , or through a company, or go see someone in a department store? I think I need to update my look but don’t know where to go. I’m over 40 so looking for good products and techniques. I’ve looked on YouTube and there’s some good stuff out there but I don’t think anything beats seeing someone in real life and trying products out for yourself!

Any ideas..?

I got in touch with someone to set up a makeover but that kind of fizzled out when she didn't reply to an email request to set up an appointment, so I was thinking I might pootle along to Space NK and see what that's like. I'd quite like to get a really good red lipstick.

I've heard these MUAs are good:

Bobbi brown? I think you can book a make up lesson at their counters

I've done it a few times with MAC and was really pleased, but I know some others haven't been as lucky. I also went to Bobbi Brown who were useless, so...I think it depends on the MUA on the day.
