Thin, flat, fine hair - haircut help please

My hair is thin, flat and fine. The last couple of cuts have been graduated bobs but I find that although it looks good when I walk out the salon, it never ever looks like that again.
I don’t have time to mess around with a hairdryer - maybe just a blast.
Any suggestions of hairstyles for such rubbish hair.
Thank you

I have used my Babyliss Big Hair for a couple of years now, couldnt live without it. I do use it when my hair is nearly dry though. My hair is just past shoulder length and I have made a huge mistake letting my hairdresser cut quite a few layers into it - now the ends either look wispy or straggly. I may have to cut it a bit shorter and let it grow out.

I have never have the sort of hair that I can just get up, brush and go. At best I have to damp it down a bit and blow dry it.

Another here with fine, flat hair. I use John Frieda’s Fine to Full blow dry spray as I’m drying it, in sections, which seems to help.

Aveda volumizing tonic is fab.

I love these. If you can take the plunge, it’s amazing how fine hair can look thick, when cut short by an excellent stylist. CUT is KEY though, here!

@AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy that's the problem. It takes a lot of styling and effort to volumise it but then it goes limp and flat again as soon as the wind or rain touches it :( this is why I had to grow mine out again. It took about 45 mins just to get it to look thick, then I looked like a drowned rat a couple of hours later.

Darn it! I remember my fine hair being very thick, the shorter it got. But, now I just live with my long, fine hair 😊

Babylis Big Hair - wow wow wow - Fab.

Ordered it from Co op online and now used - it is the first time I’ve ever done my hair and it looked good.
Blasted quickly with normal hair drier first and then used it. Took a bit of getting used to. Don’t take too much at a time. Hair looked smooth and styled and I actually felt good.
I see what people said about pulling hair - a few mainly when I tried too much in one go but think with practice I’ll get better and quicker.
Will try it with mousse next time - couldn’t remember the above mousse recommendations when I was out so will re read and add to shopping list.
Thanks fellow fine hair sufferers x
