How to style this skirt for winter

I have this skirt from Tu https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Grey-Knitted-Wrapover-Skirt/133358751-Grey

I'm not sure I'd wear it with white slingbacks even in the summer but definitely not in autumn/winter!

What should I wear it with for work (especially tights/shoes combo ideas)? I need to wear flat shoes so my current options are tan brogues or black patent loafers but I could, if I really had to, buy more shoes/boots Wink

I would wear with a plain black top (possibly a polo-neck jumper if your workplace isn't too warm!), black opaque tights and the black patent shoes.

Bizarrely op I have this skirt and when read the title I thought of this skirt. I've yet to wear it. I'm thinking black opaque tights and black suede ankle boots with a block heel. The Sainsbury website, the model wears white trainers, nude legs..

I was thinking of an oasis jumper not quite a polo neck... www.oasis-stores.com/gb/clothing/knitwear/nina-ruffle-jumper/066629.html?dwvar_066629_color=21&position=79&cgid=knitwear#page=6&productsMoved=13&hideFeatured=false&start=79&categoryID=knitwear

Oh Number12 that's so funny, what a coincidence! I tried to wear it the other day and just couldn't get it to look right. I think black opaques and shoes/boots are prob the way forward with a dark jumper. I do love that Oasis one, I always forget to look at Oasis.
I do have a black polo neck but the joys of working in the nhs mean that I tend to go for layers rather than one warm top to allow for the extremes of temperature that everyone will be familiar with, depending on whether the heating is on or not Grin
