Beret

It is not cold enough for hats, but this time of year with all the humidity in the air means that by the time I get to work, my hair looks like a puffball. I have tried all sorts of products and nothing works. I have yet to try Olaplex, brazilian blowdry. I was thinking would a beret be suitable for autumn before I can move on to a proper hat? Anyone seen any nice berets?

When I was a teenager (1980's) Kangol berets were popular - you can still get them inline and various other places. You will have hat hair when it comes off though.

As long as the top half of my hair stays straight, I can make the rest work. The problem is when it puffs up around my face. Yuk.
I was also a teenager in the 80s, i.e. I am now in my very late 40s... I'm thinking something less trendy perhaps...
