Good inexpensive eye make up remover?

I've been wearing a bit more eye make-up and mascara recently and have been using Simple eye make-up remover which I had in the house. I don't think it does a very good job! Can anyone recommend a good eye make-up remover that is suitable for sensitive skin and is reasonably priced? Thanks Smile

I use boots own brand eye make up remover it's around £2 cream one but they have a liquid one as well I've used it for years

I use this one from Lidl. Can't remember how much exactly, but no more than £2 I think.

I’ve felt the same about the simple eye make up remover and find the simple make up remover (you shake it before use as it uses oil) works much better

Also when it comes to eye make up nothing beats coconut oil to remove!

I like the Simple one 😄, I like to think that it isn't too toxic. I use it, then I hot cloth cleanse afterwards.

Try a cleansing oil for your full face, massage it in well and then remove with a flannel, it'll bring all of your make up off, eye make up included. I've got a loreal one and it lasts ages.

I use the Boots own brand essentials range in a blue bottle. Often on 3 for 2 offer and does the job fine, and isn't too oily.

Body shop remover is good.

I like clinique take the day off balm. It seems expensive but you use such a tiny amount each time it lasts months and months. It takes off even my most stubborn waterproof longlasting makeup with a swipe with a cloth after massaging it in

superdrug vitamin e oil cleanser

or one of those pink fluffy cloths from primark

Mojitomogul · 23/09/2018 12:08

Micellar water is best imo, just hold a soaked cotton pad over eye for few seconds and wipe seems to do a good job. I like the bioderma one (french i think, bought in tk maxx) or garnier pink lid.

Olive or almond oil for me. I used to like the Body Shop rose cleanser (and it didn't make my face itch like a lot of others) but since using oil I've never gone back. No eye irritation, no itchy skin, no leftover makeup residue, no scent and costs next to nothing.

Mabelface · 23/09/2018 12:09

Agree with coconut oil and a hot flannel. Melts the make up off.

Garnier cleansing milk, or Ponds cold cream. Both really cheap, work fantastically and have been great for my sensitive skin in general!

HRTpatch · 23/09/2018 12:12

Nivea remover

Summerfalls · 23/09/2018 16:02

NIVEA mecellair Micellar Gel eye make up remover is what I use and definitely recommend

Body Shop camomile balm for me , DD likes the liquid one for eye make-up.

What price are you aiming for ?
