My DH has just turned 60 he's never been bothered about his clothes as long as they are comfy. Today I have been packing for a few days away and realise that some of his tops are at least 5 years old.
He normally wears plain t-shirts or polo shirts which in the past were bought on line (m&s) but he realises he needs new ones, which shops should I take him to we live in the back of beyond so haven't been in a men's shop for years or should we stick to m&s.
We are going to stay within a few miles from Manchester.

My DH (similar age) always buys online. He likes landsend and woolovers as they are both comfy, plain and the quality is good. He always buys in the sale.

DH(early 40s) would consider 5 year old polo shirts to be some of his newer clothes! He shops a lot at Next for chinos, shirts and suits. He gets jeans and T shirts for casual from outdoor gear/mountian biking brands.

Thanks for your replies. I thought it was just my DH who will not buy clothes.

Similar age DH totally uninspired by clothing! Would live in a vest and shorts year round..I buy his clothes ( online, it's easier) and because we live in back of behind too I get him jeans/chinos from Next or M&S, nice shirts & tshirts/polos from Boden. Weird Fish for fleeces. Boden or Next for jackets. Shoes he gets when he passes a Clark's or trainers online. He actually got compliments recently in his wardrobe! Was gobsmacked. I do think a nice shirt helps a lot. I thank god we no longer live near a Tesco or he would buy his suits from there

Lol carbuckety!!!! DH works near a huge Asda, and used to dress entirely from there, usually if he’d gone in for a lunchtime sandwhich or something.

I'd be delighted if my DH wore 5 year old clothes: His favourite outfit for chillaxing is grey trackies with a massive bollock vent, and a Euro 96 shirt.
