starting to get spots.
don't bother them (yet), but I want to be prepared :)

so far dc uses only flannel & warm water on face and shampoo in the shower. I guess at some point that's not enough anymore.
what's a sensible routine? bar soap&flannel once a day?

Is DC male or female?
My DS gets the odd flare up of teen skin spots and is Meh

My DD gets hormonal TotM spots and it's Disaster

Maybe get a couple of cover sticks stashed away just in case?

My DS is very much the wash'n'go , uses a beard /face wash (Bulldog) and I bought him some Nip+Fab to try.

DD is a Mario Badescu fan (she's uses the drying lotion which is £16 ) BodyShop Camomile Balm (about £10 but often on offers)

Check the diet - low sugar and processed crap

I'd recommend natural products to start, tea tree and lavender are great for skin, add a drop or two to a wash cloth or in the sink. St ives exfoliating face wash is the best you can get, help scrub away dirt. Use once a week.
Cetaphil moisturiser is great for skin and won't cause breakouts, it binds moisture to the skin and provides a barrier, I use it as I used to get hormonal spots and boils, not any more. I suffered badly since age 12 and these are the only products that have repeatedly worked. If nothing seems to be working try the gp, sometimes hormones cause problems only medicine can help with
