I'm due any day now with my second (and probably last), and obviously rushing out to buy new clothes is not going to be high on my to do list, but I'd still welcome any suggestions! The only new item of clothing I've bought in the last 3 years is my maternity jeans!

Pre children I had quite an alternative style, was quite brave with my clothes, and was a size 8. 3 years later I've accepted that I'm probably not going to fit into most of my pre pregnancy clothes again, so I'm starting over. I've mostly just been living in the baggiest clothes I can find for the last few years, I don't even know what my style is anymore. I expect I'll be a size 12 after I give birth and probably a size 10 in about a years time, so I don't want to spend loads and get a huge wardrobe of stuff that (hopefully) won't fit soon. But I'd like a small collection of nice transition clothes which are comfy but which I can start to feel like my old self again in. I'm 30, 5'2, dark hair/pale skin, and plan on breastfeeding for at least a year so would prefer tops/ dresses with feeding access :)

H&M apparently have some great nursing options.

Layering will be your friend. I personally can’t get on with the one layer up, one layer down stuff, I usually opt for either a zip front dress/blouse or something I can pull down with a boyfriend cardigan over the top.

Choose a small number of colours that you like and suit you and stick. Like navy, cream, black, beige and you can do a million things with the combinations.
