Botox and the slippery slope

Last week I had a little bit of Botox between my eyes and in my crows feet.
I can still scowl but instead of deep crevices I've got tiny crinkles.

No one has noticed I hope but DH asked me if had a facial.

I don't look any younger but just less haggard, which is what I was aiming for.

The Dr said she expect it to last 4-6 months.

Now I'm wondering what else I could do. I did mention my awful under eye shadows but he had a look and said I'd probably bruise too much with tear trough fillers.

In reality I won't have anything else done but can easily see how easy it would be to get sucked in and end up looking ridiculous.

Did you have your 'number 11' frown marks done? I've never had botox but apparently research shows that it cheers people up! Please report back and tell us if you have a spring in your step - I'm so intrigued by this claim!

Can they really do anything about shadows? I'd love to get de-shadowed too - do they do it with botox then?

I have considered botox (a lot). My sister is a RGN and does botox but I am wary. I do have an addictive personality and I am also very very frowny......its my resting bitch face. So for me I would go for botox and within 4 weeks have had a gastric band and be getting a vaginaplasty! just not worth it for me, I am ok the way I am.

Yes 11's, it's made such a difference, from 2 big dents to small indentations.

Don't know about shadows I'm afraid, I've read on MN about tear trough fillers but I'm not a suitable candidate. Hopefully an expert will come along.

You probably didn't look at all "haggard" before the Botox. Why do women have to use such awful words to describe their normal face?

secretssafe · 12/09/2018 21:26

Not sure if I'm cheerier than usual word, but I don't look as grumpy.

Sounds great!

I had Botox done in June. And I have to admit I was really tempted to get my lips done and cheek fillers. However I have so far refrained. No one knows I have had botox but I'm pretty sure lip and cheek fillers would be a lot more obvious.
