Sorry, typed too quickly but surely you have some clue? Do you really expect MN to source your wedding?

AnneJones · 08/06/2007 10:06

BOO PinkMartini - I love these type of threads!

kittylette · 08/06/2007 10:06

Ps I love the colour combination of the spotty cake (second row, left one) - that would fit with love hearts. Keep to blocks of colour and not too many frills, chuck in white too et voila.

Sigh - I want to get married again!

Oooh - your theme/inspiration could be "good enough to eat"!

Think love hearts, fairy cake colours etc.

Not sure if your DF will like...but boys aren't allowed opinions about weddings! (My DH wanted to be very involved and only ended up confusing me. Having said that he has oodles more taste than I do....)

kittylette · 08/06/2007 10:10

yeah thats lovely!

the cake was te first thing i ever got excited about wedding wise, i found a pic of it about 2 years ago, but then booked a winterwedding and it just didn't fit in,

now it feels like its 'right' again and everythings getting exciting!!

Wedding stationery with love hearts www.kathrynthomas.co.uk/colour_stationery.html#

But there might be less 'sophisticated' more 'fun' designs that would fit better with your ideas.

My dress was 50s style polka dot - the last one the dressmaker made though (it was the last of her spotty fabric).

AnneJones · 08/06/2007 10:20

ps. I didn't use Kathryn Thomas in the end but she was very nice when I emailed her with some queries. Good quality paper too.

and DO consult DH-to-be

he may not care re bridesmaid dresses or flowers but DO NOT make him wear a pink wiatscoat if he doesn't want to and DO NOT decorate the venue entirely in pink. He will not be comfortable.

AnneJones · 08/06/2007 10:30

A neat posy

kittylette · 08/06/2007 10:30

no, he can do pale blue

he would never wear pink ... ever
