And my DD1 is getting married in 10 days. Pretty sure every other woman there will be wearing some at least, but I have NO idea!

I've never worn it, and while not hideous, I suspect a little bit would make me look fresher for photos but have no idea what to wear..or how! I was hoping DD2 would put a little on me but she's a bridesmaid and having her hair and face done with DD1.

I just don't want to look old and grey amongst all the glamour :D How to I go about it?

Ok - why not get your makeup professionally done and ask for a very natural look.

Sounds like you won’t be continuing with it so let someone else do it for you.

I also don’t wear make.

Hope I've read this correctly, both of your daughters (bride and sister of bride) are getting their hair and makeup done by a makeup artist / hair stylist. If so, why not get your hair and makeup done too? I had a friend of a friend do my makeup at a close family members wedding it was great as I definitely would not have been able to do that kind of makeup on myself. I usually do my own light makeup and have realised I look crap in photos.

Otherwise, you could go to a makeup counter and say you would like suitable makeup for your daughters makeup what would they recommend?

I second getting a professional make up artist in Smile

I'm a complete make up addict and love going all out, but the barefaced natural can be done very simply. If you want to do it yourself, I'd suggest buying the following:

Kiko hydra pro glow a brightening moisturiser (it makes my red blotchy skin look dewy and radiant). Wear all over your face and neck.

Concealer - I prefer Mac/make up forever concealers, get colour matched at nearest department store. Just apply lightly to any discoloured areas, spots etc. Blend it with a beauty blender (real techniques dupe is very good).

Benefit roller lash mascara - teamed with a lash curler, it really widens your eyes and makes them stand out

Honestly, if you're a make up novice then you could absolutely just wear the above and look beautiful, you'd also look most yourself in the photos Smile
