Pressed Powder?

At the ripe old age of 58, I still have an oily t-zone. I apply Dior loose powder over my foundation but I need to top up a few times a day. I currently use Maybelline matte maker which is quite good but I'd like something a bit more high-end, preferably a compact with a built in mirror.

Can anyone recommend a mattifying pressed powder that is finely milled and doesn't sit in pores/lines? Am I going to have to splash out on eg Charlotte Tilbury, Nars or somesuch?

I’m 42 and after a week trawling all the make up counters, I’ve found the best to be MAC mineralise compact powder.

It hasn’t settled in any fine lines or under my eyes. I also brought the Charlotte tilbury but that didn’t have any real staying power and the Bobbi Brown one but the MAC has been the best performer.

Max factor creme puff pressed powder is v good I've used it for years

Queen I bought the creme puff about 3/4 years ago because of good reviews, I threw it out though as it had a very strong scent. I may try the Mac powder, it'd be less expensive than the CT one. Thanks all.

I like Clinique stay matte sheer pressed powder in invisible matte. It's £25.

I’m 47( today!) and the best one I’ve ever found is Clinique Superpowder double face. This time of year I wear it without foundation and it never clings to pores or lines.
