Capsule wardrobe for a 3 year old (autumn/winter)

Any suggestions for where to buy the following capsule wardrobe items for a three year old girl? I'm aiming to spend £100-£125 in total.

4 X long sleeved Jersey tops
4 X warm/fleecy jumpers or hooded tops with a zip
4 X leggings in dark colours
2 X jeans
3 X dresses
1 X coat with a hood

Anything you think isn't needed? Anything I have missed, excluding underwear, pyjamas and shoes! We do laundry 2-3 times a week, by the way.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's?

I like these as their clothes can usually be tumble dried which makes it so much easier

Sainsbury's are good, as are H&M. The latter is very good for leggings, though I don't have a girl to shop for so not sure about the rest! But we have always found their children's clothes to be very good value and to wear and wash well.

Sounds about right to me.

Does she like wearing dresses? My first DD wore leggings all the time so dresses and jeans lay untouched in the wardrobe. I used to spend my life buying leggings and patching them up at the knee when they got holes in them. Your amounts sound about right as long as your DD is happy to wear a mixture of trousers/dresses.

I would have added:

1 skirt
2 cardigans (but then only have 1 zipped fleece and 1 zipped hoody)

H&m all the way. Their cotton tops and leggings are 3 for 2, wash well and last. Id buy their summer dresses in a bigger size to layer up. They have long sleeve dresses for £2.99 as well.

As a legging expert (Never thought I’d say that!) I really recommend PoP for good quality leggings. Or Sainsbury’s (cheaper and not quite as robust).
PoP is good for 3 year old staples in general.

My dd 2.5 could go through that in 2 days 🤭

Does she go to nursery?? Only asking as everything get trashed there do my dd has separate stuff just for school only primark but great for long sleeved tops (£1.80) and leggings

Leggings are great - I found some fabulous boys/unisex ones last year (crocodiles on etc) from H&M but not found anything as good this year Sad

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll check out Sainsburys ( and ASDA?) and H+M. Primark too for leggings.

Sorry, what is PoP?!

She goes to nursery and comes home covered in paint and baked beans, which is why I don't want to spend too much on clothes. I do already have a few smart (non nursery!) dresses from a friend and she would wear those at the weekend.

Polarn o Pyret - Scandi brand. Good quality but not cheap - but also good sales.
