Hair still frizzy mess after drying naturally.

It's been 6 weeks now and my hair hasn't been near a hairdryer or straighteners yet it's still drying like a frizzy crazy mess. I look a state!
I've had a lot cut off it so nice fresh ends. I've tried Moroccan oil & bumble & bumble don't blow it but still no improvement.

Does this mean that's it and I'll have to resort back to hear styling if I want to look half decent?

Is your hair wavy? If so you could follow the curly girl method for wavies, there is a Facebook group

Have you thought about chemical straightening?

imnottoofussed · 18/08/2018 10:54

Anyone tried the redken no blow dry stuff? I've been meaning to try that.

Do you brush? Mine goes frizzy if I brush it when it’s wet. If I just comb then leave it there’s much less frizz.

Try Murumuru butter, you have to melt it in your hands as it’s solid at room temperature. Once it’s on your hair it solidifies again and holds it, softly not like helmet hair or anything. I use it on DD. I buy it from Akamuti.

Tried the redken stuff and that did nothing for my hair.
I don't brush, just comb after the shower and leave it to do it's crazy thing.

No to chemical straightening as I'm pregnant.

Curly girl method looks awful on my hair.

I'm a lost cause!! Confused

Only brush it when it's wet with conditioner, don't brush once dry. Maybe pick and choose bits of curly girl that work for you.

toomanyslippers, have you got layers in it to make it curly as well as frizzy? You need layers I think, especially if you hair is really thick.

The murmuru butter sounds interesting. Coconut cream would be like that but it'd feel yuck. I use a bit of argan oil, not expensive.

My hair was like a second job, it was so thick and so frizzy. So I got it cut to chin length and graduated at the back. The hairdresser cut it when it was dry. It sits much better after a dry cut.
