Bikini line woes

poorbuthappy · 12/08/2018 15:40

It doesn't matter how I remove the hair or what I do afterwards I get the most horrendous red bumps / in growing hairs.

I've done
normal shaving
Hair removal cream
Lady shave
Epilator
Waxing

And bought in grow hair stuff from amazon and slathered myself in sudocrem afterwards to no avail.

I am very pale skinned and burn easily.

4 sleeps I am in the south of France for 10 days.

Please does anyone have anymore ideas???

Have you been to a professional or just home attempts?

poorbuthappy · 12/08/2018 15:47

I knew that would be a response.....Hmm
I don't want to stop as I prefer a smooth line rather than a hairy one.
This is style and beauty....Biscuit

And both....the salon wax was the worst I'd ever had it.

Try a salon that uses Lycon wax -doesn’t stick to your skin

Waitingonasmiley42 · 12/08/2018 15:48

Have you tried the Philips Lumea or another equivalent? I have a cheaper version I use on my face and has helped slightly.

Might the sudocream be exacerbating the issue? It's quite thick and may be blocking the open pores. Try waxing again - hot wax with someone experienced.

exfoliate with an exfoliating glove, as the hair starts growing back, to make sure the hair can re-grow 'freely' and release itself from the top layer of skin.

Sugaring. You can get it online. It's brilliant and quick!

Posted too soon!

I've struggled with in growing hairs from shaving, waxing and hair removal cream.

None whatsoever with sugaring!

I'm a big fan of organic coconut oil. Bic type razor then apply the coconut oil.
