Rihanna's Skinny Brows....Come back?

Rihanna has tiny skinny brows on the latest Vogue cover...

Some people are predicting a revival of the skinny brow (perhaps not quite as skinny as Rihanna's) as to teens/those in their early 20's it will be a 'fresh new look' and not like reliving the 90s

Anyone wanting a skinny brow come back or do you think square brows and slugs will hold out?

At least she had the sense to have it done with Photoshop

I still much prefer 90s eyebrows - not the really thin ones though definitely thinner than thicker- the 90s all saints are still my brow inspiration

It would mean that I'd be in fashion again. My brows are too thin due to over-plucking as a teenager and then chemo finished them off. We need a happy medium though, don't we? Here's hoping.

Oh man, I had a look at this issue today; it fell open at a page of beige clothes - trench, tight polo neck, platform block heels - and with that and the smell of the magazine (it hasn't changed), I was swamped with deja vu that I was back in the mid 90s.

Laughing at all you kids referring to thin brows as '90s'. I remember the 70s version! I was only little, mind you.

I really hope not, I've spent the last week being repulsed by Alex's super thin brows in Orange is the New Black. Terrible!

I've had a closer look at the picture, they actually look tinted (painted on) to me and her hair is not all her own either. If that is what passes as "beautiful", as one fan girl here described her...

Rihanna is Barbadian, not American. And probably has no intention of railroading innocent passers by into copying a magazine cover.

Also the whole idea of appearing on the front cover of Vogue is precisely to make a fashion statement and get punters to copy the look...

So why do you think they publish fashion magazines like Vogue then? (where cosmetic firms and fashion houses pay to advertise in) for the recipes?

Oh please let this happen. I overplucked mine in the nineties and they never really grew back. I've been colouring them in for years!

I honestly think tweezer use should be heavily age restricted. I can't believe when I was growing up they spunked away so much public cash fannying around trying to stop teen drinking, when plucking was ruining lives. At least those ghastly enormous brows aren't wreaking irreversible damage. I mean, why was this poor misguided creature allowed unsupervised access to tweezers? What happened here? I assume it must be a bit like that Michael Rosen poem "Chocolate Cake", they start out small but things escalate, and they keep trying to even things up until suddenly there's nothing left. It's tragic.
