Recommendations for cheap everyday perfume

I won't wear good perfume for everyday use. I keep my good ones for best and usually wear a more dated one I can pick up cheap for work. I've just polished off Cerrutti 1881 and some Roberto cavalli. Budget up to £20

I got s Charlie white from boots - it was £6 and reminds me of when I was 17.
I also like all the Green Tea range by Elizabeth Arden and I like sunflowers too (but I got laughed at on here for saying that!!!) these are all under £20.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2018 20:08

Green Tea is really lovely but doesn't have much staying power.

Katrina12 · 02/08/2018 20:10

I second Suddenly from Lidl... smells very much like CHANEL Chance

Southernc0mfortmirror · 02/08/2018 20:13

I like the new-ish Sarah Jessica Parker - Stash Unspoken

titsbumfannythelot · 02/08/2018 20:16

Zara do some lovely perfume. I like the chypre one which was less than £15.

Ohlellykelly · 02/08/2018 20:17

The madame glamour from Lidl is the coco mademoiselle, and the Suddenly is a different scent.

MissMarplesKnitting · 02/08/2018 20:19

I like next ones, especially as the do a £4 mini spray for your bag for freshen ups

flutteryleaves · 02/08/2018 20:21

almost 20 years later, i still love sarah jessica parker "lovely".

fredabear · 02/08/2018 20:26

Lidl perfumes

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2018 20:30

I like Paul Smith's stripey one for men (I am not a man!) - often on offer in Boots.

itsbritneybeyatch · 02/08/2018 21:10

Where are people buying Lovely by SJParker? I can’t find it anywhere and I love it!

LuxuryWoman2018 · 02/08/2018 21:13

Lovely is in Superdrug, savers and beauty base but I've seen it in boots I'm sure.

ChishandFips33 · 02/08/2018 21:18

Paul smith woman
Clinique happy
Sunflowers - perfume is strong but now there's a body spray
Anais anais

Home bargains often has perfume in cheap...and Asda

I wear my best perfume everyday now though - life is too short to save it for special occasions that never happen in my life

ChishandFips33 · 02/08/2018 21:18

CK one

BuntyCollocks · 02/08/2018 21:36

So. Primark’s Eternal summer is a tom Ford soliel Blanc dupe. I have the TF body oil, picked the primark perfume up for the princely sum of £3 in the sale and my mind was fair boggled.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/08/2018 22:07

Bodyshop Pink Grapefruit £8. Not long lasting but nice to spritz on

B1rdinthebush · 02/08/2018 22:57

And Other Stories have a great perfume range. They do little oil roll ons for about £12 and the full size bottles are about £25 I think. My favourite is Sardonyx Fire for work though their fig one could nearly pass for Diptique (which the brand of my regular perfume but at 100 quid a pop I don't wear for work).

MyLifeInTheSunshine · 03/08/2018 00:32

I echo the suggestions for Perfume Parlour dupes. Next perfumes also decent quality.

Don’t discount celebrity fragrances. If you can get past the crappy branding, there are some absolute gems.

For this time of year, I’d highly recommend Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, Yardley Jade, D&G Light Blue, Philosophy Pure Grace, Beyoncé Rise, any of the CLEAN summer fragrances (special editions, usually available online in small bottles as part of a set) if you want something ‘fresh’. Aquolina Gold Sugar or JLo Bronze Glow for cheap ‘tropical’ vibes.

LockedOutOfMN · 03/08/2018 00:55

I like the Zara own brand perfumes (not all of them! Give them a sniff in store). Often on sale at the end of season, which I imagine is around now...I mean everything seems to be on sale right now.

LellyMcKelly · 03/08/2018 01:04

Primark are doing some amazing Jo Malone dupes for £8.

Primark are doing some amazing Jo Malone dupes for £8.

Wow! This sounds tempting. Thanks, LellyMcKelly.

Can anyone recommend any of these in particular, please?

teta · 03/08/2018 12:56

Island Escape at m&s - citrusy seaside bergamot. Smells lovely and its cheap. Or Eclat d Arpege if you like florals and fresh lilac.
Silences by Jacomo - green and fresh and similar to Chanel no 19 but I think it’s much better.

Mumshotel · 03/08/2018 15:57

Thanks everyone. So much choice and I've got a few to keep an eye out for now.
I took a punt on perfume parlour and got about 5 little roll ons. They were all perfumes I've had in the past and some were a bit retro... Gucci envy me and 212. Spend £26 including delivery but that's not bad x

The New Look and Zara perfumes are all lovely IME.

Avon do a nice one called Alpha.

Also can't beat a bit of Britney Spears Fantasy. Diesel Loverdose is my new discovery.

JMAngel1 · 03/08/2018 20:12

I discovered Milton Lloyd lately and it is a revelation - £5 each and they smell exactly like their intended dupes - I have Poker which is indistinguishable from my Chanel Chance and Summer Sky which is D&G Light Blue - I have sprayed the real thing on one wrist and the ML dupe on my other and I swear there is no difference - in fact the Summer Sky has better longevity. Bonkers.
I'm definitely going to try more - they are better than Perfume Parlour IMHO.
