What can I put on my hair whilst drying naturally?

I'm trying to get my hair back in better condition so I'm avoiding hairdryers & straighteners for a while.
Trouble is I have a natural (not nice) curl to my hair with a frizz to it.
Is there anything I can put on my hair whilst drying naturally to give it a nicer appearance? Otherwise I'm having to wear it in a bun everyday to hide the horrid frizz.

Moroccan oil is lovely to massage into the ends of drying hair. You only need a small amount and the smell is lovely.

I use Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It cream. It's expensive (£25) but you can buy a small travel size for £12. I love it and I haven't blow dried my hair for a year now.

I've just tried the Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It yesterday (too hot to hairdry and straighten)

It did leave my hair less fluffy and straighter, like other poster said there's a small version now, and 10% off your first order

I use the Johnson's baby conditioning spray, it's under £3 and it's amazing! I spray it through my hair when it's wet or dry and gets rid of all the frizz and leaves it SO soft

Color Wow Dreamcoat for Curly Hair. Even better than Bumble & Bumble which comes a close second. You leave it to air dry or you can use a diffuser if you’re in a rush.

Curl creme , it's probably curly but you haven't learnt how to style it . It's amazing how many people have curly hair but don't know it . Mine is sooo frizzy if left to it's own devices but super curly if styled right. 👌🏻

John Frieda Frizz ease serum is what I use. You can get it in most supermarkets and it’s often on special offer.

Try putting a serum-sized amount of your usual conditioner on your clean, wet hair. That works well for me on days when I can be bothered to mess about

I've just bought some DHC leave in conditioner and an oil that get rave reviews. BUT, I haven't received them yet. If they are as good as their other products, I'll post an update.

Have a look at the curly girl method. I don't follow it 100% but it has really helped turn my frizzy hair into lovely curls since I've given up the straighteners.

My hair is fine and frizzy. I put a bit of Sebastiens Molding Mud in wet hair. It improves it immensely.

Marking this thread. I have the same issue. When i leave my hair to dry, its not a pretty sight. Some great suggestions. Going to try the baby oil one first😀

LockedOutOfMN · 03/08/2018 00:50

I like OGX coconut water spray (you can buy it from various shops, including Boots). I use that and always airdry. Never get any frizz.

Agree re: Moroccan Oil, which is more expensive.

The Aussie spray leave in conditioner is nice for moisture but doesn't really do anything (good or bad) for styling.

Update on above.... On first trial, it only arrived today, the DHC Oil seems to work. I wet my hair in the shower (didn't shampoo) and, sopping wet, rolled through some of a Davine's curly product; then wrapped it curly girl style to take the worst of the wetness out for 20 minutes. After that it was airdried in the sun walking dog. Came home, opened parcel, and ran a couple of tiny drops rubbed into both palms through hair and it has ringletted very nicely, well much better than normal. Curl is defined, weightless formula, no frizz and no crunching. Light but pleasant scent. I think it's a hit, and may have to get more as it's about to be discontinued.
