I'm after some smart- ish tops for bf in to wear in this weather. Too hot to wear a vest under a shirt, I'm back at work so need something smart casual, recommendations please, baby comes to work with me.

Have looked at all the nursing ranges on high st, they're all crap so wonder if you have any secret finds?

Someone on here recommended Happy Mama about 2 weeks ago. I ordered 2 nursing nightdresses, 2 dresses and a top and it all came to about £55. The quality is quite basic high street but I've had loads of compliments.

It's on the casual side.

If you're on facebook, join the "can I breastfeed in it UK" group.

Loads of ideas for breastfeeding friendly high street clothing added every day. A real game changer! I hated spending £££ on "nursing" clothes, which are mostly frumpy and also only used for a while anyway.

Much better to buy regular clothes that are cheaper and you'll get more wear from :)

I always thought the most important item of clothing was a cardigan. I was very much a 'pull up your top' BFer (I BF for about 8 years in total, wasn't going to spend all of that time in frumpy tops) and found that people can't really see much from the front but there was potentially a lot of side boob (or folds of fat where my waist should have been) on display but a cardigan could be draped or pulled in such a way that the side view of the baby was hidden.

Thanks all. It's more for this weather though so cardigans and scarves aren't really appropriate.....

I have bought from here a few times. Awful name but their clothes are good. I love the cowl top I bought last year, it is still going strong this summer.
