Dresses are impossible, unless super stretchy. If at all baggy look pregnant. Tried Bravissimo but they are sooo long they look really frumpy on me.

I find if my top is not a stretchy fitted type top I look preggers... but really need some new style

I'm a 30gg. Wear a lot of tea dresses and 50's style dresses. Maxi dresses are ok as long as they are elasticated at the top and flare out under the bust.

Where do you get your dresses from please?

You need to get stuff altered! Those dresses can probably be shortened, (assuming the waist is in the right place), you can buy some things in sizes that fit at the bust and get darts put in them so they fit round the waist.

Yep but for a dress to fit boobs would need to be a size 14, and I'm a 8/10. Also the 14s are huge around rest of back area, shoulders etc. if you see what i mean
Also, skint... no money for alterations :(

5ft 1in and 30ff and no waist since the menopause. I have slim legs though so wear a lot of skinny jeans and jeggings. Tops have to either be fitted so I wear t shirts with a bit of Lycra or very loose and floaty so they skim rather than hang down in a straight line from my boobs. I can’t wear blouses or anything buttoned as it makes me look matronly.

Dresses are harder, I used to like a wrap dress but they aren’t so good since I lost my waistline. Now I wear shift dresses or cocoon dresses.

I agree that when you are a ‘non-standard’ figure it is good to have things altered to fit. I quite often have to have shoulder straps shortened or a hem taken up. It makes a world of difference.
