what are you seeing?

and honestly, it's so cold outside, I saw loads of peeps in fleeces today

DimpledThighs · 28/05/2007 19:48

I hate fleeces on anything other than long country walks, but I wouldn't tkae it as far as to shoot you.

Do you have a jumper?

Doesn't a fleece count as comfort-wearing?? Sartotial equivalent of Ambrosia rice-pud straight from the tin. As such, totally acceptable from time to time >.

Did DH mind?

ledodgy · 29/05/2007 10:27

I think you should have only been allowed to get away with it if you let your DH wear his beloved M&S Lumberjack type shirt that you love so much.

anniemac - my mother favours those....hip length and sack-shaped .I own one and I am very happy to say that I wear it before and after exercise or for long muddy walks. Not for anything else. Used to own more but I think they sort of naturally weed themselves out as you get older. I need shape to my clothes these days as I am no longer a bean pole.

Swizzler · 29/05/2007 11:30

That depends - was it coloured?

admylin · 29/05/2007 11:33

I suppose it depends where you live too. If you were going out in the lake district or up in the Scottish highlands it would not look out of place as it's usually crawling with mountaineers. I would do it, but then again I'm in Germany and you can go out all hairy legs and birkenstocks on and no one will notice (atleast in the Swabian area you could) although here in berlin it's more a no!
