Please help me get nice eyebrows!

I'm a complete eyebrow novice, I just want them to be nice but also quite natural looking. I've had them waxed a couple of times but not since March. Since then I've been plucking them a bit, but I've stopped even that in the last two weeks.

Should I (a) pluck the hairs growing underneath myself, (b) let them grow out a bit more and then get them waxed, or (c) get them waxed now? My reservations about plucking them myself are that I'm not confident about getting a good shape, and obviously it won't last as long. What do you think?

I find threading gives a nicer result than waxing. A better shape and more natural than waxing. Its also less red afterwards.

You also don't have to wait for regrowth with threading. Its get even the tiny new hairs.

You have a good shape and strong brows which is good, I'd get them shaped by a professional and then just keep up with them after.

Go to a HD brow stylist. Honestly, the difference is amazing. I get stopped by people about my brows - wish it was my amazing toned body, but I don’t have one 😂 my brows, though, are bloody awesome.

I'd say threading and trimming rather than waxing
Your eyebrows have a good natural shape so once they've been done you will be able to maintain at home for a while

Please get it threaded. You will never go back to waxing or plucking

I had mine waxed for over 10 years, had a break from them for a few months because was busy and then wanted them done before a holiday but couldn’t get anything booked so got them threaded at a brow bar instead and can’t recommend it enough- shaped them better than waxing/plucking ever did!

Thanks for your help - seems like threading could be the way to go!

I've never really tried it because apparently it's painful - is it worse than waxing? I don't find waxing unbearably sore, I was expecting to find it much worse to be honest

Also what are hd brows? A friend recommended them once but I don't know anything about them or how it works.

HD brows is where they use a combination of waxing, threading and plucking to shape your brows. They also tint them. It’s really good. My brow lady spends ages working out the right shape and they’ve gone from being sad little flat brows to having a nice subtle arch that suits my face.

Threading does smart a bit but it’s pretty quick. It’s no more painful than waxing IMO.

Wax and thread do the same thing. If you have a therapist who knows brows they can get a great shape using either method. They both pull from the root.
Personally I find threading more painful but everyone is different. The important part of to stretch your skin well and hold it very taught when they ask you to. That will reduce the pain and increase the speed.
