Face hair removal

So, i have a light coverage of fuzzy face hair, the occasional dark one on my jaw and some pretty obvious sideburns ☹. I wax, thread and pluck but it never lasts very long. I cant afford laser treatment so am considering a machine to use at home, such as a no!no!

Does anyone have any experience of these machines or any advice at all?

be wary. one made me very ill. I don't know if it's because I had mild undiagnosed lupus or similar (light sensitivity) so if you do use one I'd say use it infrequently with gaps and work up until you've worked out if you're intolerant. For me I used it as it said to, and then after about two weeks became seriously ill. I don't mean to put you off as the vast majority are fine, but it's not worth getting ill if you can be cautious about it .

@toooooo which did you use? Thats really good to know. They do seem a bit too good to be true so i will do lots of research first.

No no devices are crap don’t waste your money, it just burns the hair off. I use an epilator and that has worked, but electrolysis is your best bet , and then laser.

Pob13 - I used the Boots Smoothskin one.

Do look into stories about people who have had a bad experience. For me the side effects included hair loss around my hairline (I didn't use it on my hairline, for refernece!!) which is now only just growing back 3 years later (!!). It ruined the skin on my face - fat loss and extra wrinkles appeared! Like collagen had been destroyed. I developed lots of new moles on my skin. Issues with walking for a while. Really dangerous, I think I more than likely do have a light sensitivity issue.

I'm sure it was the machine that caused it.

Dermaplaning is the answer to this not cheap but it gets rid of the fuzz
