Outfit for a date

Ok, so 1st post and really nervous.

Im going on a rare date with my boyfriend on Sunday and I want to wear this pink blouse I bought for an interview but ended up wearing something else. Anyway, I'm quite big and this shirt is a little see through, I have a pink bra to wear under it but in this heat im especially worried about sweating through it as antipersperant has never really helped with that. I was thinking about wearing a tshirt underneath but im worried that's going to be too noticeable in the arms where the sleeves stop and i only have black tshirts anyway. Any suggestions?

How about a simple stretchy cotton vest top in a similar colour?

Primark is great for cheap vests in loads of colours.

Second Primark for best top - licked one up yesterday for £1.80. They are fab.

*vest top.

I would wear something else altogether. Layering in this heat will just make you feel over heated and you won't be comfortable at all. Save the top for another date. Do you have a dress, or top and culottes you could wear?

Anything can be dressed up a bit with accessories and shoes imo

CrisisKitten · 05/07/2018 14:09

Even if i wear something else the main issue is still sweat showing up. If it's not black (which most of my clothes are) it's gonna show up really easy and i dont want to be worried about that while on my date. I feel like layering is my only option, I've purchased a vest top but i don't know if it will arrive on time. I need a backup plan...

Op try driclor or Odaban, one of the prescription strength anti perspirants available on prescription or from the pharmacy. You’ll need to apply to unbroken skin so few days after shaving, but honestly it will stop you sweating at all in that area.

CrisisKitten · 05/07/2018 22:05

Can i pick them up from a pharamacy without a prescription?

I know you can get driclor without a prescription but I find it really stings/burns. I use Sure Max Strength and find it stops me sweating in this heat.

Have a lovely date night!

Yes you don’t need a prescription. It can sting, but if you keep the area super clean and dry it will minimise it, a light dusting of talc helps. I only use a little at a time, don’t put lots on. May be best to wait for temp to cool down before using as the stinging starts if the area gets any moisture. Use once a month and you’ll be able to wear what you want with confidence in a relatively short time.
