Post c section trousers

I wasn't quite sure where to post this as am not expecting to look particularly stylish but posting in 'childbirth' didn't seem quite right either..

Please can anyone recommend some high waisted summer (ie lightweight) trousers that I can wear comfortably with a new c sec scar? I really really need to be able to buy them online. Am in the UK.

I am probably about a size 16 and pear shaped so usually wear things which sit low on my hips as this somehow minimises my bum. Am fully expecting to look terrible. But need to be comfy! Wide-legged ones would help to balance out my hips I think if possible.

Thanks!

I would stick to maternity stuff for the first month or so, maybe in a smaller size. I am planning on wearing my jojomamanbebe Bebe white linen trousers to begin with as well as maternity leggings. To be honest I think will prob stick to dresses most of the time.

Once have lost a bit and healed a bit will go back to my trusty Fcuk high waisted jegging type jeans which are super flattering and comfy.

Thanks - I have some maternity leggings which I can wear but my mat jeans all hve a band where the denim meets the stretch fabric around where my scar is which is really uncomfortable.

I do have some dresses but was after some trousers too.

Am not confident enough re blood leakage for white trousers but will have a look at jojo!

I think they do them in other colour the band bit isn’t too hard.

I've had two sections, after both I continued to wear maternity trousers for a few weeks as the high waist is rally what you need to avoid rubbing the scar. I'm afraid you'll need big high waist knickers too!
Harem trousers are also nice, comfy and loose and in the summer look good with a pair of flip flops or sandals.

Oh and high waisted leggings

I've got some maternity high waisted, light weight trousers from H&M, they're mostly black with a white pattern. Still wearing them months later.

Thanks, will have a look at h and m 👍

I do have mat leggings and pj's and many giant up to tummy button primark pants from last time, but if anyone can recommend any specific trousers that'd be great. Thanks for all your help.

If you like those they also do them in primark for £6

Or how about a jumpsuit?

Would highly recommend these, very comfortable and soft waisted. Wore them after my c section with no issues
