What's the maximum strength of tretinoin you can get and is it always cream in a tube?

Does Tretinoin come in different forms and if so are they interchangeable? What's the maximum strength? I read somewhere that it was 0.1% but then I saw a bottle of what looked like clear liquid, but labelled "Tretionoin" at 2.5%.

I've been using the 0.1% cream and my skin is now used to it so if there's a higher strength I'll move up to that.

Max is 0.1 cream or gel sold in a tube. As far as I know (also long term user). Scientific studies showed no increase in anti-wrinkle functionality over 0.05% by the way, in case you're using it for that.

I've seen plenty of vitamin a oils sold as clear liquid at cheap prices. But they aren't tretinoin (and I'm not sure they're even decent vitamin a since it's all light sensitive).

Or maybe it was "retinol" I saw in a bottle - think it was the Ordinary. What's the difference between retinol and tretinoin does anyone know?

Interesting about the no increase in anti-wrinkle functionality over 0.05% - that was what I was using it for initially but it seems to have had the side effect of curing my acne almost completely too!

And are the gel and cream interchangeable?
