Unfortunately I sweat when it gets very warm, what are the best tops to wear to disguise this as much as possible i.e. If I wore a pale blue Tshirt I'd have marks under my arms and across my chest. Yes, gross!

Use one of those deodorants that you are supposed to put in just before bed and wash off in the morning eg sure maximum, driclor etc. You will still need to use a deodorant after washing.

Wear natural material tops eg cotton, linen etc,

In warm weather, sleeveless tops will allow your arm pits to air.

I've just bought a few uniqlo airism t shirts to try out. They are supposed to wick sweat away and have anti bacterial properties. Personally, I think they Are too thin to wear by themselves, I wear them under tops that I'm prone to sweat in and they have helped

I'm perimenapausal, and have been sweaty for years. Sad

I wash with bar soap. Always. Often adding a dab of bicarbonate of soda to really get those pits odour free.

I double up on deodorant. Roll on and spray afterwards.

The most effective is to try not to get too hot. I open windows, I sit near windows or doorways.
I carry a fan in my bag.

Luckily, I live near home, so I go home, wash my armpits and reapply fresh deodorant. Also, change my top if necessary.

If it's not possible to go home, I carry a spray, or a stick deodorant in my bag.

The stick deodorant can be applied on top (even in a toilet cubicle for privacy) without anyone smelling, or knowing what you are doing.

I wear layers. So I can take off a layer. Always.

Try Anhydrol Forte from pharmacy2u. It's the business. You can wear anything you like then!

Best tops to disguise? Maybe a vest top underneath to absorb the sweat and then the top layer looks untouched? Depends if you can cope with two layers though :/

You can have Botox in your armpits to stop sweat. Driclor roll on makes my armpits itch madly. Mitchum works well on me though.

You can buy stick on sanitary type pads for clothes to mop up sweat.

Natural fibres are better than anything man made.

I sweat. Take a bottle of water with you when you shop for clothes. Put a drop on the fabric and don't buy if it shows.

HundredMilesAnHour · 17/06/2018 16:39

I tend to buy a lot of black tops / dresses. At least that way the sweat doesn't show so it's not so embarrassing.

Driclor really irritates my underarms and makes them really sore.

I've started carrying a fan with me, especially on the tube. I also carry a mini deodorant with me to work and will reapply if I feel sweaty.

I find that man-made fabrics are much better than cotton for me (not sure about linen - don't wear it often enough).

For anyone that gets hot flushes/facial shine, Face Saver gel (you can get it on Amazon) is fantastic. I had a really early menopause and this preserved my dignity at many a work meeting!

Put it on, let it dry, then put moisturiser on as well because it's a little drying otherwise.
