Prepared to pay a little bit more for high end

Currently using a benefit mascara and it’s a bigger to get off. I’m using a l’oreal biphase remover thing - it’s pretty shit.

Going on holiday so fancy stocking up on duty free. That Lancôme two phase one has good reviews and Clinique take the day off for lashes lips etc?

I don’t have sensitive eyes by the way. Just want the mascara off without panda eyes and finding residue the next day

Lancôme and then bifacile to remove it

yetanothernewusername1 · 15/06/2018 21:57

The best I've ever tried is actually mega cheap! Nivea Daily Make Up remover is the absolute best. It's a blue and clear separate liquid until you shake. 3 wipes with that and a cotton pad and
Bugger to get off waterproof mascara is off!

BlueKittens · 15/06/2018 22:03

Vaseline

Rub it in to eye with finger. Wipe away with slightly damp cotton wool pads. Doesn’t sting, very effective, not drying. I’ve never found anything better and don’t understand why more people don’t use it. My mum and gran have always used it and have very few wrinkles around eyes.

Bodyshop Camomile Balm for me, DD likes the Camomile liquid remover (I don't)

Or the Kiko 2-layer one (lip and eye)

Fluckle · 15/06/2018 22:11

I use Benefit They're Real too, I find the Nivea bi-phase one mentioned above does a great job on it.

SnartyFartBlast · 15/06/2018 22:12

Another vote for vaseline

1Wanda1 · 15/06/2018 22:22

Boots Botanics one is just as good as more expensive Lancôme/Clinique versions and gets everything off in a couple of wipes.

Thenthatsthatthen · 15/06/2018 22:29

Can’t buy it at duty free but I’ve found lush’s ultrabland to be really good at removing my waterproof mascara (two faced). Plus it’s doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin like most others do.

Worieddd · 15/06/2018 22:51

Vaseline sounds a bit faffy?

Will try it tomorrow!

BlondeSea · 15/06/2018 23:01

Lancôme- it's a pale blue liquid.

BlueKittens · 15/06/2018 23:26

worriedd Vaseline is not faffy at all. Takes a few seconds to (gently) rub in and then you wipe off (two Swipes?).

You do need to wipe your finger after with cotton wool as you’ll have eye make up on it.

But honestly it all comes off - and without the vigorous eye rubbing required with eye makeup removers.

Hecksonaplane · 15/06/2018 23:29

I second the nivea daily eye makeup remover, it's brilliant and often on offer in wilkinsons

catinboots9 · 15/06/2018 23:42

Nivea as said by PPs

missjoanie · 15/06/2018 23:56

Vaseline all the way! Honestly, it removes every last bit without making my already sensitive eyes sore.

MinnieMinchkin · 16/06/2018 00:36

Coconut oil followed by a warm flannel.

yellowsun · 16/06/2018 13:08

Definitely the Nivea double effective blue one with the oil and liquid. With any other remover I’ve tended to pick at my eyelashes (I know!) but with this it comes off easily.

GenericDietCola · 16/06/2018 19:10

I like the Nivea one too, it’s very effective.

emma6776 · 16/06/2018 19:21

Vitamin E oil.

I used to use the Clinique 2 phase one but now use the Nivea one and save loads of money as it's only £3

FreeButtonBee · 17/06/2018 07:56

I use the Vichy two phase one. But more importantly is technique. Read this somewhere and it’s life changing.

Soak your cotton pad (not cotton wool) in remover. Fold into two and then gently trap your upper eyelashes between the folded pad press gently along the eyelashes and then hold for at least 30 seconds. This lets the remover dissolve the mascara without rubbing. Pull eyelashes very gently through the pad as you take off. Repeat as necessary. Also stops you gettting flimy eyes as it keeps the remover away from the eye itself.

blueskypink · 17/06/2018 08:58

I use Simple eye make up remover pads. Love them - very effective and don't leave any oily residue behind.

fruityb · 17/06/2018 08:59

Coconut oil! I won’t go back after discovering this - it’s amazing
