Hairdryer diffusers... how to use

Given up straightening my hair all the time and going to embrace the waveSmile
Never used a diffuser attachment before, do they make hair less frizzy ? Do you just sort of hold it up to your hair or do you twist it into your hair ?

oh wow, do they still sell diffusers? Hands down the best volume for my curls i ever had!

Wash, put your product on (used to be mousse back in the day, I'd go for an oil or serum now) turn your head upside down and, in sections, gently push the diffuser up into your hair.

Perfect soft curls with no frizz. I always did it on a lower heat as I have naturally dry hair, still worked perfectly.

I'm off to buy one now.....

I have curly hair and use a diffuser to dry it ...
so you scrunch the hair with whichever product you choose and then scrunch the hair into the diffuser while it's off and then squash it against your head , then turn it on . Just hold it still for a good while and then move around your head .
After many years I find this the best way of doing it .

I use a diffuser.

I follow the curly girl method, so I do that and then when it comes to diffusing I take it (turned off) and put some of my hair in it and hold it close to my scalp. Low power and low heat and switch it on for a minute or two. Turn it off and remove hair, then move on to next section and repeat until my hair is dry.

Then I scrunch out the crunch (SOTC) and have my nice curls.

I’ve recently done the same! I also went and got the hairdresser to cut my hair with lots of layers which has taken out a lot of weight to enhance the curls. Also google ‘curly girl method’ I was very dubious, but it’s really helped me keep the curls in place.

I won’t go back to straighteners now Smile

I have natural curls and use Tigi Curls Rock Amplifier. About £7 in B&M and over twice that in Regis Salons.
