Porcelain skin (almost blue!) - what build-up self tan to use?

Hi
I am very pale. I'm looking for something to give me just a slight hint of tan, so it looks natural.

What do you recommend ?

I'm very pale and use the Dove gradual tan lotion. I use it once a week just to warm my skin up, rather than building up a proper tan.

thanks. Any other advice?

I have the Bondi Sands gradual tan, it's really easy to build up and looks very natural. Dries quickly and has never gone streaky with me, which was amazing as I'm absolutely crap at applying fake tan.

I love St Tropez gradual tan that you apply in the shower after washing, leave for 3 minutes then wash off.

It never streaks and I love that I don't have to wait for it to dry

OP I'm blue (with a nice hint of grey) too. The other day a slightly blunt friend was talking about an Irish redhead friend of hers who has the whitest skin she's ever seen; she looked again at me and added, 'OK, well, maybe she's not QUITE as white as you...'

I posted about this very issue about a week ago and was recommended the St Moriz mousse, which I have now tried and which is PERFECT for me. I actually have never found a gradual tanner that didn't make me look like I had a light layer of orange on top of white skin. The St Moriz therefore ISN'T a gradual one, it's a 'proper' one but it works well for me, and like you I don't want to look anything other than 'warmed up'.

I could only find it in Medium, whereas I'd probably be even happier with Fair or Light if they do one. However it's a good, very natural colour on me. Even better on Days 2 and 3 and 4 and it's fading evenly. I applied with a mitt which is the first time I've ever done so and it made a mahoosive difference, no streaking whereas usually I do get a lot of streaks.

It's cheapie cheapie cheap so worth a try maybe? THat was my thinking after getting it recc'd on here - worst comes to the worst I've only wasted 4 quid - and I have to say I love it.

I use the St Tropez tinted gradual tan. I only use it weekly though because I only do my legs of course this has nothing to do with my own incompetence and inability to do my whole body

I second the in-shower St.Tropez OP - very easy to put on (almost idiot proof with limited streaks) and looks really natural if you’re blue like me !
