Pyjamas

So, I've never worn pyjamas before, I have some old bottoms from DH I wear at that time of the month and that's it. But now children are getting older and I need some PJs.
My list of basic demands are:
-Not too mumsy
-Nice fabrics, not too sweaty
-Classic stylings
-Long legs as I'm tall and I don't want to have to shave my ankles 😂

I thought M&S might be the way to go but the only ones I liked were a sort of black satin Rosie H-W set that looked like they may be sweaty.

Depends what your budget is, but the ones I have bought in the Hush sales are the best ones I own. They That said, I still wouldn't pay £50 a set, but I have paid £30. The sizes with a T next to them are the longer leg sizes.

Another vote for Hush. I don't bother with matching sets, just buy the bottoms and wear them with vests.

The have lightweight cotton ones in the summer and snugly brushed cotton for winter.

Primark have lots of patterns and styles!! The ones with cuffed legs are amazing!!

BagelGoesWalking · 05/06/2018 16:27

Primark and Sainsbury's are the only places that seem to skin inexpensive and cotton at the same time.

BagelGoesWalking · 05/06/2018 16:29

"Skin" 🤨 meant stock.

I normally loathe Peacocks but they do fantastic pyjamas which are super soft (they do a normal cheap cotton range and these super soft more expensive ones). I'm on my second pair and love them. Not sweaty, and was brilliantly.

MildlyFedUp · 05/06/2018 17:34

Yes I have some nice Peacocks pyjamas, and some lovely soft ones from Asda that I bought recently.

I prefer to buy cheap and then replace when they acquire the inevitable curry/period/bleach stains (I spend a lot of time in my pjs Grin).

WyldDucks · 05/06/2018 19:09

The Hush ones are lovely!

I'm not keen on buying cheap clothes and replacing them often, if I like something I tend to wear it to death in every colour!

I have FatFace pyjamas which wash and wear well. I only ever buy them in the sale.

Acopyofacopy · 05/06/2018 20:31

Sainsbury’s men’s pyjamas. Lovely long bottoms and plain t-shirt tops, pure cotton, reasonably priced.

puddinggalore · 05/06/2018 20:44

Recently discovered uniqlo do lovely pj bottoms, lots of patterns and colours, really soft and comfy, in long, 3/4 and shorts.

BabloHoney · 05/06/2018 20:47

Boux Avenue are good for comfy pjs.

Or white company if you’re really going to treat yourself Smile

VetOnCall · 05/06/2018 21:05

FatFace pyjamas are lovely, I just buy the bottoms and wear with a plain t-shirt or vest. I also have a pair of Hush pj bottoms which I really like, and is one of the only things I've ever ordered from them that isn't massively oversized.

Chocaholic21 · 05/06/2018 22:28

I love White Company pyjams - lovely fabrics and wash/wear really well.

goose1964 · 05/06/2018 22:36

Another vote for Primark. Loads of designs and they last forever, not literally but I have some that are years old and I wear them around the house rather than in bed so a lot harder wear than they are designed for.

jensner · 05/06/2018 22:38

I love my FatFace pyjamas!
