Doing my own hair and make up advice - The Big Day

Hello Smile

Hope I ANBU to ask for some advice

I am getting married on Tuesday - very low key, low budget wedding.

I shall be doing my own hair and make up but haven't a clue where to start really. We aren't having a professional photos done so make up doesn't have to withstand any flashes etc but I would like it to last all day with as little touches up as possible.

What make up would you recommend and have I left it too late to maybe get a make up session done at MAC or something (how do I even book that?)

Also what style would you suggest for my hair and make up? Here is my dress: www.chichiclothing.com/products/Chi-Chi-Aerin-Dress.html
(FYI, my shoes are a simple ivory heel with pointed enclosed toes)

I'm 24, petite with fair skin and freckles and brunette hair that falls in line with my armpit (not sure how else to describe that length lol)

Thank you in advance x

I never wore much make up and after leaving booking a make up trial to the last minute, I ended up with a make up artist whose idea of the natural look was making me look like a full on clown who had been out all night! So I wondered into Debenhams and ended up at the Lancôme counter. The girl was fabulous, understanding the natural without the plain look , very classic. It cost me a bit of £300 to buy the makeup but I walked away with step by step instructions on a card. For someone who didn’t know how to apply make up. I have to boast , my make up looked pretty amazing on the day, just like I had a make up artist do it!
