I have a wedding celebration all day thing next month. It's festival/field themed. Will wear either wedges or pretty sandals. Which dress do you like better?

One. Where are they from?

GlitteryPineapples · 24/05/2018 10:01

Number 2 is amazing!!

I think number 1 would irritate you, especially if you're outside. It would just keep flapping open and probably twist around your legs while walking if it's windy!

overnightangel · 24/05/2018 10:02

2 by a country mile

CloudCaptain · 24/05/2018 10:06

No 1 but with plenty of boob tape.

UpperWallop · 24/05/2018 10:08

I think anything inspired by or a very close copy of a very recent, headline-grabbing celeb dress is just a tiny bit naff. Go your own way OP, not ACs way.

Eminybob · 24/05/2018 10:15

I think the 1st one is beautiful, I’m not keen on the second one. I love the colour.

On another note, in that article, the first Priyanka suit copy, why the fuck has it been styled with a bum bag? Not really selling it to me!

smudgedlipstick · 24/05/2018 10:55

First one 😍😍😍

cindersrella · 24/05/2018 11:00

I like the first. 😀

Summerisdone · 24/05/2018 11:10

I think both are beautiful, but I'd be tempted to go for the first because the sleeves means you won't be worrying about finding a jacket to go with it, whereas the sleeveless style of #2 means you may get chilly later in the day

dontquotemeondailymail · 24/05/2018 11:18

I like number one but would expect 00s of Amal wannabes at weddings this year

BitOutOfPractice · 24/05/2018 12:14

I think number one looks much much more expensive than number 2

Alexkate2468 · 24/05/2018 12:18

Number 1 is beautiful. Where is it from?

Bettyfood · 24/05/2018 12:20

I loved Amal's outfit but it, and the colour, will surely be the most copied thing this year. Dress #1 is lovely, but I'd steer clear, make you look like a wannabe.

berriesandcream21 · 24/05/2018 12:55

They are both from misguided

I don't mind looking like a wannabe 😄

PetulantPolecat
From that same article, can I just derail and say wtf is this £1000 monstrosity?
It’s like someone off Little House on the Prairie that I’d expect to see on some reality show based in Utah where wife number 3 wears that to soon-to-be- wife number 6’s wedding

This made me howl. I actually quite like it in a way, although I'd want to wear it with combat boots, a spiky dog collar and black lipstick. And I wouldn't pay £1000 for it!

GhostCurry · 24/05/2018 22:42

I’m amazed that people think number 1 would be the harder one to pull off and requires a better figure?!

I like number 1 as well (also like the Little House in the Prairie dress though... Grin )

RavenLG · 24/05/2018 23:15

1 as it's flowy so it fits the festival theme more (but neither are 'festival' in my opinion). 2 is nice if you have the right shoulders and arms but is a bit more formal. Colour looks good on the right skin tone.

Racecardriver · 24/05/2018 23:19

Number two looks a bit cheap but ultimately it comes down to your figure. Number 1 would probably be more universally flattering but number 2 would look better on some people. Would like to take the opportunity to suggest a dark tan if you want to wear that colour. Won't suit pale skin (if that is what you have atm).

Racecardriver · 24/05/2018 23:20

Oh and just wanted to say that Amal look ahmaaazing am I right? Nothing wrong with looking like an Amal wannabe-who in their right mind isn't secretly wanting to look even a little bit like that?

ButterfliesandMoths · 24/05/2018 23:36

Number 1. It's much more elegant.
