I just turned 30 2 days ago and it occured to me that i really let my skin care routine go after having ds !
Am assuming i should be looking more into anti ageing stuff now ? What is your skin care routine like ? I am looking for the essentials really as i dont have 1 hour each night to apply products !

I turned 30 in February, much to my disgust.... but I'm fortunate to still look about 21 Grin. Although we shall see how I look after I get through this pregnancy and birth.....
Anyway, if recommend a good cleanser (I make my own with castor and apricot oil, takes waterproof makeup right off!), some toning or cleansing pads from Nip+Fab, a low strength retinol (I use the Ordinary) a few times a week and then alternate with a vitamin C serum and a good, moisturising night cream. For day, a light brightening serum, 30 SPF and/or a day moisturiser. I use Simple day moisturiser with 30 SPF. Oh and plenty of water! I look terrible when I don't hydrate!

Just moisturise regularly. Possibly consider a fattier night cream. And remove your makeup before going to bed.

And please don't start saying things like I turned 30 in February, much to my disgust.... but I'm fortunate to still look about 21, as they are incredibly inconsiderate.

wear sunscreen. Don't smoke. Eat properly. Choose the right parents.

unless you want surgery or botox, there's no such thing as anti-ageing products.

@specialsubject choose he right oarents ? You mean is genetics ?
I dont smoke but i lived almost my whole life (until 23 ) in a very hot country and rarely wore any sun cream so i guess all the damage is done :p

It's not too late to start with sunblock. Red light led will stimulate collagen production, loss of collagen is very aging.

You'll need a good antioxidant too, the ordinary euk is my favourite but they fo vitamin c too. It basically stops you going off like an apple with a bite out of it.

Always use a sunscreen! It's not to late. SPF 30 + in summer and you can usually get away with a moisturiser with SPF in the winter.

Depends on your skin type for exact products. But you need an antioxidant in the morning - Vitamin C is great. In the evening I'd suggest using a vitamin A/retinol, use a low strength every 3rd night and build up from there. The Ordinary products are really reasonable and good. I also like Obagi for vitamin C.

A dermaroller is good to stimulate collagen too.
