I'm new to all of this so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. Do you have to go to a chiropodist if you want to get rid of hard skin on your feet or would a beauty salon pedicure do that? I've no idea but I need to get rid of my hard skin. Footner didn't work!

Look for a “medical pedicure”, it’s a bit of both!

A beauty pedicure might not be good enough if there’s a lot of hard skin, a chiropodist will do the job but concentrated on health rather than beauty.

If you want to get rid of the hard skin for cosmetic reasons, a medical pedicure is the way to go.

Thank you. It's not horrific but it definitely needs a good going over. I had a feeling a chiropodist would be my only hope but they are so expensive compared to a beauty pedicure. I may just have to bite the bullet and go for upkeep in the meantime.

I suppose I'm just asking if a beauty pedicure would get rid of dry skin on my heels or just deal with my toes. I've got really hard skin on my heels that I want rid of. Nothing too bad.

Yes, they’ll deal with that also.
