If you use them could you tell me where you buy them from please.
Are you pleased with the results and did they cause sensitivity?

@Namechangeforakitchen did you get them on offer from Caliwhite would like to buy some as have just had a teeth cleaning at dentist and would love whiter teeth before my birthday in a couple of weeks. Just a bit worried that they're super cheap (obviously that's great, but unsure if they are real/will work)

Namechangeforakitchen · 19/05/2018 10:16

Hi no I didn't get them on offer. The low price that's quoted (about £12) is the price for just 3 packs of strips unboxed. That's fine if you just need a quick top up but if you are using them for the first time you would probably need a full box. A full box costs about £40-£50 which is similar to the prices in the US. I go to LA each year to stay with family and it's exactly the same stock and prices as the ones I see there. Cali White's website isn't great and they don't really describe the different types of strips that well so I think I've bought a different type of box each time I've ordered them. They are all pretty much similar.

Thank you

Aldi are selling charcoal toothpaste and teeth whitening treatments in their special buys right now!!!!!

BagelGoesWalking · 19/05/2018 15:12

Someone recommended this site to buy the strips. IF I get them, I'm going for the mild ones first.

this needs science which is frowned on here, but
-nothing sold otc in the uk whitens teeth. this is because the bleach strength needed damages teeth. you need supervision from a dentist.

  • the yank stuff does bleach but also damages. which is why so have veneers and still look like a horse chewing a piano.
  • oil pulling is hippy babble. might get teeth a bit cleaner, so will plain water. no evidence at all, although some darwin award benefits because a few devotees have got pneumonia from it.

I’ve used them for years and had no problems - my dentist is happy with my teeth. I don’t have sensitive teeth though, if you do then I would prob steer clear from whitening generally.

Personally I think all the charcoal tooth products are too abrasive, but each to his own.

FemaleDilbert · 19/05/2018 16:21

I got mine off eBay

I've used them a few times, the pro version - maybe a bit more sensitivity towards the end of the course. Have also got the Phillips sonicare diamond clean as recommended on here, using that with a&m whitening toothpaste has probably given me almost if not as good results.

I bought crest steps in the states. My dentist recommended them. I found them good and had no problems with them.

reachforthewine · 19/05/2018 21:19

I used the crest professional results teeth whitening strips. My teeth look fantastic. I used them twice a day (you can do this but you can use them only once a day if you wish)

I bought them from ukteethwhitening.com for £50.

No sensitivity to gums.

OlennasWimple · 19/05/2018 21:22

WTF is oil pulling?

exhaustedbylife · 19/05/2018 22:33

I'm going to order some 🙈

I went to the dentist for a check up/clean n polish then did the crest professional effects strips for 7 days, I also used the Colgate pro relief extra strength toothpaste while whitening and didn't get any sensitivity at all. I bought them from Cali White

I am doing a course of treatment with these strips right now. I bought the Supreme ones, that are meant to be more aggressive (14% perosside). You are supposed to use them for 60 mins every day for 21 days.

I am at the end of week 1 and I think I'll taken a break for a couple of days, and then do another 3 treatments (for a total of 10 days instead of 21). My teeth are getting quite sensitive but it is not intolerable at all, just uncomfortable.

I am only planning to use 10 sets of strips instead of the full course because I am already satisfied with the results and I don't want my teeth to get unnaturally white. For me 7/10 days of treatment were more than enough to get what I wanted. I will keep the rest for future top-ups in the years to come.

I would honestly recommend, although you need to use it carefully and stop immediately if you are in pain.
