Hi all;

I have issues with blackheads on my nose and hormonal spots on my chin. I have tried a number of products over the years however nothing seems to work to clear them up.
I know I will probably always suffer with the chin eruptions, however just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what would be best to use for my nose. I have tried charcoal based washes, pore strips and the usual supermarket spot treatment washes and moisturisers. One particular one has been around for ages over a freckle and despite trying everything hasn't gone. Appears to be quite deep under the skin.

Due to having a new dc and on mat leave, would really like something that doesn't take an awful lot of time and also isn't too costly (however I will spend a reasonable amount on something that will work!)

TIA x

Cidal antibacterial bar soap used in the morning and before bed. About £3 for two bars and honestly I credit it with keeping my skin clear for nearly a year now after suffering with hormone related (PCOS) adult acne all my life following a short course of antibiotics.

I use khiels everyday face wash- it gently cleans so doesn't strip your face of oils as when your face is stripped of oils it produces more leading to blackheads.

With regards to the hormonal chin spots, if they feel like they're always there I think it's worth taking a trip to the docs. They can give you an antibiotic cream or benzyl peroxide cream to help clear it up. You don't have to accept that you'll always have them! I used to get hormonal spots that just wouldn't budge, it felt like as soon as one healed and was fading away there was another one starting to form! I felt a bit embarrassed going to the doctors because it wasn't horrendous acne and was very mild, but I had tried so many different products and diet changes and nothing helped so made an appontment and the doctor was really lovely and reassuring. He prescribed me a cream which cleared them up in about 2 weeks and they haven't returned since
