Summer foundation/tinted moisturiser

Hello stylish people. Can anyone recommend a really lovely foundation/tinted moisturiser that I can use that (a) won't hide my freckles and (b) won't make my skin look greasy? I have never been able to find a tinted moisturiser that doesn't make me look like a shiny mess, although I appreciate that may be down to a lack of skill in application...

I have pretty much normal skin, gets a bit dodgy in winter but summer clears everything up generally - hence wanting to get away from my normal heavy foundation (I use and love Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear)

Any ideas or recommendations very welcome Smile

I'm pale and freckle and wanted a matt, tinted moisturiser - anything heavy gets stuck in the wrinkles!

I bought a Korean BB cream called Missha M signature complete. I LOVE IT. So hard to find a pale BB cream and it looks like I have nothing on, but mattifies and reduced redness , thin coverage.

It's SPF 25 too.

I was going to ask this question today actually, but I'm specifically after a tinted moisturiser. I used to use No7 but don't like it since they changed the formula.

I'm not keen on spending more than £25 so the usual suspects (LM, LE, etc.) are no good for me.

For foundation for OP, Bourjois Healthy Mix may be worth a try. All the things you are looking for and it actually cared for my skin too.

Thank you! Will check out the recommendations. I've tried the Laura Mercier and it just made me look greasy so if I can get something cheaper and better then that suits me!

Try the Jouer Matt skin tint

I actually just mix my foundation with a tiny bit of moisturiser and it does the same job as a bb cream or tonted moisturiser

Bare minerals do a lovely one, I buy it year after year

letiziana · 11/05/2018 13:35

bare minerals complexion rescue gel is lovely, comes in loads of different shades

Mac face and body applied with a damp beauty blender will give u a nice sheer effect without been greasy or making skin look slick

I have freckles and love Bourjois healthy mix . It's light with just enough coverage and not shiny .

I use same foundation as you and use the Lancôme B.B. cream when I want a lighter look. I use a small amount of powder over it and it gives a nice light finish.

I've just bought the body shop bb cream in the lightest shade and am very impressed. It comes out white but blends to your skin tone and the coverage was good without being too heavy or drying.

Lotsofplanetshaveanorth · 14/05/2018 05:27

Also using the body shop one and so far so good. Nice not to be stuffing about with moisturiser, primer and foundation - but it still needs a bit of powder I think (though I am a bit greasy)

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 14/05/2018 05:38

Do NOT whatever you do get the Olay bb cream. I did yesterday and it absolutely hums, like very bad fake tan. I'm loathe to, but I'll be chucking it.

Sammysquiz · 14/05/2018 06:44

The Bobbi Brown one is nice. If you go to one of their counters they’ll give you a squirt of it in a sample-pot so you can try for a few days before deciding whether you like it.

rosettesforjill · 14/05/2018 15:20

Thanks all! I think I'll pop out this week and get a few samples Smile

Just add some of your foundation to your moisturiser or suncream. I add my EL Double Wear to mine and it works brilliantly.
