Bit of a long shot - foundation that doesn't emphasis your pores.

I never wear makeup, but i have very red cheeks and would love to tone them down a bit and add a healthy bronzed glow. I had some foundation and bronzer applied in a dept store the other day and it looked dreadful. All my pores and hairs were more noticeable and i could FEEL it on my skin..it was horrible...but it did tone down the redness.
So my question to you is...is there anything out there that would tone down the redness, but doesn't feel claggy on the skin and doesn't emphasise pores and hairs? Thank you.

I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser with a bit of their concealer in the really red bits. There’s two, I use the dewy one not the matt one.It doesn’t emphasise at all (I know what you mean by that) but it might not have enough coverage for you worth a try though.

My pores became noticeably better after I had DS. Hormones I suppose.

Try a pore reducing primer.

Have you tried a primer? I like the Boots No7 Airbrush Away , I can't feel it on my skin but it does even out my pores etc.

Also when I have foundation applied by a beauty counter they always put it on really thick right to my jawline which looks awful whereas when I do it myself, I start to thin it out about two thirds of the way down my cheek (I am quite fair and therefore very hairy, this way of apply means it doesn't collect in my hairs!)
Also a sheer foundation or BB cream rather than matt will help I think.

Maybelline matte whipped mousse.

Light texture, great coverage and pores disappear. Brilliant stuff.

None. Get The Ordinary Niacinamide serum. 2 weeks use and you’ll notice a huge difference. Then all foundations look nice!

I have the same problem, my pores are enormous! I was looking at a tangerine the other day and thought this looks like my skin.
I used to use double wear but it made my pores look worse so ive recently changed to Boots No7 beautifully matte which looks loads better.

Whatever foundation you use you need a good primer. It makes a world of difference. The best one I've use (and I've tried loads) is Collection Mattifying Pore Minimiser I use the setting powder from the same range and even on a sweaty day my make up looks like its just been applied.

I use Bobby brown foundation stick. Takes seconds with great coverage for redness. I've had same problem op.

I have very red skin on my face and most ordinary foundation seems to sit on top of my pores. They only thing I have found that doesn't do this is Clarins BB cream. It evens out my skin and doesn't sit on my pores at all. If you ask at any Clarins counter they will probably give you a sample to try.
