Just that really. They are deep furrows and I hate them. Any other suggestions other than needles?

Other than really invasive surgery ending with your eyebrows in your hairline.... botox is your best bet.

spinduffy · 03/05/2018 19:28

Yep it’s the only thing that works. It doesn’t hurt but it is costly.

GreenBox53 · 03/05/2018 20:26

Thought so, bummer, don't fancy surgery just yet. how much should I expect to pay and how long does it last? When it wears off would I look like I do now or worse or better? sorry so many questions
Seriously considering it

Costs vary on where you go and how much you need. Don't go cheap obv. Get a few quotes and scope out some places.

When it wears off you'll look the same as you do now. This is why some people have preventative botox- they start early so that the lines don't have a chance to really get started.

At the end of the day it wears off... give it a go and see if you like it.

Queenoftheblitz · 03/05/2018 22:08

Yes but if they're very deep you may need filler on top of the botox to get rid completely.

Queenoftheblitz · 03/05/2018 22:12

I used to pay £175. It would last about 6 e months. Even when it wore off, the lines stayed fainter. It,s been 2 years since my last one and the lines need doing. I think its wonderful.

Growingboys · 03/05/2018 22:13

yes, and you'll wish you'd done it sooner.

Frouby · 03/05/2018 22:16

They aren't wrinkles in this house. Just dimples. Long dimples. And anyone who says otherwise is being dimple shapeist.

Boots have a new super serum out that is supposed to reduce long dimples. Cheaper than botox but probably not effective.

GreenBox53 · 04/05/2018 08:07

Don’t want them to disappear completely, just reduce them. I was ill at the beginning of the year and the frowning from pain has made them much worse than they were this time last year.
How do you know I you’ve found a good place, will they show you photos?

Mine reduced with Retin A cream

ggirl · 04/05/2018 08:18

they weren't massively deep though

endehors · 04/05/2018 09:47

I’ve heard people mention an improvement with Retin A or GA peels.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 04/05/2018 10:03

Botox is amazing and just having your 11s done won't cost the earth. It's when you get your entire forehead and round the eyes done that it gets super spendy.

When it wears off, your current 11s will be lighter and less deep as they'll have had time to relax.

Just do it. You'll love it.

Chanelprincess · 04/05/2018 10:23

OP, book a consultation with a good dermatologist who will be able to advise after examining you. The effects of botox last between 3 and 6 months on most people and it wears off gradually, but this depends on the look you wish to achieve. The heavy feeling after botox is not pleasant for some people. If the lines are deep and static, botox is likely the best option and will make a considerable difference.

Queenoftheblitz · 04/05/2018 23:38

If you don't want total removal just go for botox. I know what you mean about stress making them worse. Check out reviews before you choose someone.
Although I found mine by chance walking along the road. Thankgod she turned out to be found.
When i have my 11s done it also tightens up my whole forehead.

Ollivander84 · 05/05/2018 00:01

I had azzalure in mine (like Botox) and it's made a huge difference, I can see it in the pics I took

Ollivander84 · 05/05/2018 00:08

Zoomed as much as I could! I had my forehead done too, mine was all pain related. I had a herniated disc, cauda equina, spinal surgery and then lost my job
