Fitflop - comfy?

Are fitflop comfy. Want some comfortable but not frumpy sandals. Was thinking of strata gladiator. Anyone have them? Or other alternative brands? I find birkies and totally flat sandals too uncomfortable to wear.

Or and what is sizing like. I vary between a 5 and a 6. Usually closer to a 5.

I love them, but you need to try them to make sure they suit your feet. I tried some on in a shoe shop & then ordered them on line. I live in mine in the summer. Some styles can be tight across the top of your foot if you have a high instep. (I can't wear Birkenstocks)

They are glorious. Feel funny at first but are soooo good for your feet (well mine). They really help my plantar fasciitis. They aren't particularly stylish but definitely not horrific.
I find sizing normal but one foot is 4.5 and the other is a 6 so probably shouldn't comment. I wear 6 obvs.

I tried them and really didnt find them comfy at all, but many of my friends swear by them.

Always, always go back to my Birkinstocks!

Very comfortable and true to size but tend to be a wide fit. If you have a narrower foot try the styles that have a buckle at the side sow you can tighten them.

So, not sow!

I love Fitflop - non toe post.
My toes are too long for Birkies.
Have you seen Skechers new season sandals?
They have memory foam - so comfy.
They do mid height wedges which are great for people who want a bit of height with comfort - me.

Follyfoot · 29/04/2018 10:38

I found them so wide that I couldnt keep them on. Also the toe post (which I realise the pair you want doesnt have) was uncomfortable which isnt an issue I've had with other makes - maybe it was because my food was sliding around because of the width of the sandal.

Follyfoot · 29/04/2018 10:39

Foot not food, although I am a messy eater Grin

I find toe post styles uncomfortable whatever the brand.
You need fitflop bon.
I have raved about them on other threads on here as they were comfy from day one with no rubbing or blisters, despite wearing all day. HTH Smile

Thanks all. I do have narrow feet so I guess I will have to see if I can find anywhere to try on. Most places only seem to have a few ranges. Will also look at sketchers - thanks for tip.

I have narrow feet but love fitflop with toe posts .to the extent that I have just sent back some mahabis that I treated myself to in favour of new fitflops worn as slippers! I float around in Birkenstocks( in store I have never owned any).
