Curly girl method - help!!!

Ok so I have very frizzy and curly hair. I only wash it around twice a week and then have to straighten it for it to look presentable. I've recently came across something called the curly girl method and am interested in trying. But it looks so bloody confusing and no idea where to start!

If anyone has done this and it works, please could I have some tips of products, techniques etc!? I'd love to be able to leave the house without worrying about styling my hair for hours beforehand.

I just wash my hair in cantu conditioner , add product when it's soaking wet . I use a micro fibre towel to dry it a bit and then diffuse . I prefer umberto gianni curl creme to cantu but there are loads of different options .

The pink Boots curl creme is a good staple product. Rub a small amount between your hands and apply to wet hair. I then use Umberto Giannini gel over the top.

Otherwise, what pigpoglet said.

Sainsburys coconut conditioner - the really basic one that costs less than £1. Has to be sainsburys, though, as other supermarkets do similar but with -ones in it.

It's the best thing I've ever found for my hair. Don't use shampoo, just the conditioner. I do it twice, and leave my hair to air dry. You can get more into it and use microfiber cloths or old t shirts to dry it if you prefer.

I have wavy rather than curly an find washing in conditioner only makes my hair sticky. I use an sls free shampoo followed by a conditioner from the same range. My waves are definitely more defined than before.
