I just want a decent pair of black leggings...

I had a great pair from Marks that they have discontinued. I've learned not to buy super cheap that become see through and shapeless immediately (Primark) but I can't spend more than £20 on a pair. Can anyone recommend a pair that are comfy and survive the wash? Thank you.

Another vote for Sainsburys £10 'luxury' leggings. Best ones I've ever tried.

Re the mint velvet ones, I’m a size 18 with saddlebag thighs and short legs (how attractive does that sound 😂). I got the size xl standard length in the £15 leggings. They pull right up to my waist. I don’t wear leggings out in public but I work from home and wear leggings and tunics while I’m working. The navy is a very dark navy, and I got the smoke grey for £9

Hope none of these amazing leggings go baggy either.

Sainsbury's luxury ones used to be fabulous when they came in different lengths... now not so much Sad

Tempted to try Mint Velvets...

Maidenform leggings are brilliant, really thick, don’t go baggy, last years and pull your wobbly bits in Blush

I got the mint velvet ones just the standard £15.00 ones but found them baggy around the ankles. I do have skinny ankles though. I find Sainsburys/ Marks / H and m fit me so much better. By the way I'm not skinny all over I'm apple shape with an enormous belly but slim legs!

Tesco's recently was getting amazing reviews on their leggings.

Worieddd · 26/04/2018 08:24

Is a medium in mint velvet a 12 approximately?

thedevilinablackdress · 26/04/2018 08:54

I'm a 12/14 Worieddd and the medium is good. Snug when first on but v comfy.

Sainsburys, their ‘luxury’ ones, not the 2 for £10.

Schoolworrier · 26/04/2018 08:59

TKMaxx have a brand which I love - Balance I think it's called. Very soft and not at all see through.

squiz81 · 26/04/2018 10:46

Dont get the sainsburys ones, they've changed them and they are crap now. I got some nice thick ones from lidl.
