Any good creams for a rash like this?

I'm asking in Style and Beauty because you seem to all be very good with skincare, so perhaps baby skin too? Smile

DS has the awful rash. Mostly just under his chin and neck.

Some on his face, occasionally.

I don't know what to use to get rid of it. Looks awful.

What has your GP said?

CottonSock · 14/04/2018 19:05

Baby rashes seem to be short lived. Keep it clean and dry..barrier cream maybe. If it gets worse see GP

picklemepopcorn · 14/04/2018 19:05

It's a heat/sweat rash in his creases, bless him. Clean it with water, dry it, then use a tiny bit of barrier cream. If it doesn't improve quickly, then GP.

daydrinker · 14/04/2018 19:11

I see, what can my GP give?

I have tried Bepanthen (I think it's called), coconut oil and Sudocream

None work Sad

Try baby aveeno

GreenTulips · 14/04/2018 19:13

Try Eumovate from the chemist

Takes anybotch away and is a barrier cream should go in a couple of days

picklemepopcorn · 14/04/2018 20:41

Try talc instead. Be careful, don't shake the talc, just dab it on with a cotton ball.

If he was older, I'd be thinking a very dilute hydrocortisone. The pharmacist is a good bet, actually.

Is bepanthen the nice pink one, or the sticky yellow one? I like the pink one.

picklemepopcorn · 14/04/2018 20:42

Or cornflour, instead of talc.

LizzieSiddal · 14/04/2018 20:45

Go to a pharmacist, they are very good with things like this.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 14/04/2018 20:50

No advice but he's gorgeous! What an adorable face Smile

daydrinker · 14/04/2018 21:05

Thanks all, will pop along to the pharmacist.

I've tried baby aveeno (it's what we use everyday on his skin) x

No advice, but what a beautiful boy!

mintmagnummm · 15/04/2018 08:20

100% la Roche posay cicaplast cream! There's a couple of different ones but you want the repairing balm, I'll try to find a pic and send it...

mintmagnummm · 15/04/2018 08:21

This is it...£6.50 for the smaller tube which will last ages.

mintmagnummm · 15/04/2018 08:22

Oops forgot pic!
